Privacy Policy

Lisa Bee's Crafts (“Lisa Bee's Crafts,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit lisabeescraft.com (the “Site”), buy from us, or sign up for our email and text messages, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Order information: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, the items you buy and any personalization details (such as names or words to be painted).
• Payment information: payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Your full card number is entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and is never received or stored by us. We receive limited details such as the card brand, last four digits and payment status.
• Marketing sign-ups: your email address and, if you choose, your mobile phone number, along with a record of your consent (the date and time, the wording you agreed to, your IP address and browser information).
• Messages: anything you send us through our contact form or by email, including your name and email address.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL and the date and time of your visit, collected by our hosting provider’s server logs and any analytics tools we use.
• Cart information: your shopping cart is stored in your own browser’s local storage so it is remembered between visits. It is not sent to us until you check out.

2. How we use your information

• To make, personalize, ship and deliver your order, process payments and returns, and send order confirmations and shipping updates.
• To answer your questions and provide customer service.
• To send email and text marketing only if you have opted in (see below).
• To operate, secure and improve the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and understand which products and pages are popular.
• To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements, and to enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Email and text message marketing

Email. If you check the email consent box, we will send you news about new designs, seasonal collections and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us at hello@lisabeescraft.com to opt out. We will still send transactional emails about orders you place.

Text messages (SMS/MMS). If you provide your mobile number and check the separate text message consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Lisa Bee's Crafts at that number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies (up to 6 msgs/month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers who act on our behalf and are bound to protect your information, including our payment processor (Stripe), website hosting and security provider, email and SMS marketing platform, shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS or FedEx) and analytics provider.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, us or others.
• Business transfers: if our business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses your browser’s local storage to remember your cart. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security. If we add analytics or advertising tools, they may use cookies or pixels to understand site usage or measure ads; where required by law we will ask for your consent first, and you can control cookies through your browser settings. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete personal information we collected from you;
• Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: we do not sell personal information, and you may opt out of any sharing for targeted advertising by emailing us or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser;
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email hello@lisabeescraft.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We will verify your identity by matching information you provide with information we already have, and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.

California notice at collection. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity and, for personalization, any inferences you provide) for the business purposes in Section 2, and disclosed them to the service providers in Section 4. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out.

7. Data retention and security

We keep order records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes (typically seven years), marketing consent records for as long as you are subscribed plus the period needed to prove consent, and contact messages for up to two years. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for the sale or sharing of information). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where required, we will notify you by email.
